Omega Introduced "OMEGA Mission Hills World Cup" - New Double Eagle Co-Axial Chronograph Versions

An important fact is worth mentioning, that is in both models of Omega's Double Eagle, the originality of the dial, having a black carbon patterned texture, was achieved with the help of Physical Vapour Deposition treatment. This provides bold scenery for both, the 12-hour and 30-minute markers. The whole backdrop forms an eye-catching figure of 8. The small seconds subdial is located at 9 o'clock and the timepiece's date window is found between 4 and 5 o'clock. Its case represents a mix of classic Constellation and modern design features, which include a black rubber. Continuing the tradition of the Omega family, the Double Eagle chronograph has asymmetric claws of the Constellation Line, which for the first time were introduced back in 1982. The first version of the watch, made in 18-carat red gold, has its bezel lacquer-coated, and its crown along with the pushers brushed in wonderful red gold. The Roman numerals of the timepiece are also made in red gold. They are surrounded by the lustrous lacquer of the bezel, which outlines Double Eagle's daring design. The crown of the watch, made of red gold, displays the logo of the Swiss brand, Omega. The second model of the watch, made in titanium, provides a sporty appeal. In great contrast to the case, which has a sleek brushed finish, Omega's designers coated bezel, crown, as well as the pushers with rubber. Double Eagle's bezel has Roman rubber coated crown, displaying the Omega logo. All in all the watch represents both, a technical achievement and a world premier.

The Swiss watchmaker's Double Eagle Co-Axial Chronograph includes a self-winding mechanism that provides supreme performance for those sportsmen who do understand and appreciate the value of extreme precision mixed with power. These characteristics allow the timepiece to be a perfect example of a watch for outdoor sports. The new creation from Omega is available in two versions, one being the 18-carat brushed gold and the second one titanium, having a brushed finish. To commemorate its status as the title sponsor of a very prestigious global golf team event, which is also considered to be one of the oldest, one of the most popular Swiss watch brands, Omega, introduced its new Double Eagle Co-Axial Chronograph, the name of which is "Omega Mission Hills World Cup". The book was written by a young researcher, who specializes in the watch manufacturing history. His name is Patrick Linder and his book analyzes all the aspects of creating watch movements. The volume also highlights in rich illustration little known moments from Longines' industrial adventure. In order to celebrate the 175 years of Longines' activity, the company added to its museum two new rooms. Review of the Casio G

Automatic calendar. Electroluminescent backlight with auto EL function (meaning it can automatically illuminate when tilted to about 40° in the dark). World time (48 cities, 29 time zones, and automatic daylight savings adjustment).Four daily alarms and one snooze alarm (which keeps sounding until explicitly disabled). Countdown timer (up to 60 minutes).Stop buy Ulysse Nardin with split time (resolution of 1/100th of a second, and a maximum time of 59:59.99).I've owned my GW056A since they were first introduced in Japan about two years ago (which means mine is actually a GW056J — the identical Japanese version), and it still gets regular wrist time. I like to wear it in the winter because it fits nicely under my coat sleeve, and when I ride my motorcycle since it slips easily beneath a glove. Although I love each and every one of my Casios, sometimes its nice having all the G-Shock functionality without all the G-Shock bulk.View the Casio G-Shock GW056A Photo Gallery.View the Casio G-Shock GW056A Photo Gallery.I think of the Casio G-Shock GW056A as the G-Shock for people who don't like Ulysse Nardin gift. It's certainly the most subtle and unrecognizable G-Shock currently in the lineup, and most importantly, the slimmest. It has the same octagonal case as many of the older G-Shocks (and the new retro tribute G-Shocks), but the brushed stainless steel bezel makes the shape much more pronounced. In fact, the shape is the first thing you notice about the GW056A. My wife calls it my Battlestar Galactica Replica Ulysse Nardin because the unconventional shape is similar to the shape *** will apparently assume if the world is ever destroyed by Cylons (of course, I'm talking about the new Battlestar Galactica). The extremely slim and lightweight design is really what sets the GW056A apart. In terms of features, you'll notice that it's on par with all my favorite G-Shocks: Atomic calibration (US and Japan). Solar powered. Shock resistant (naturally). Water resistant to 200 meters, or about 650 feet.

Introduction to Sinn: a Convergence of Watch*** and Engineering

Like the U2, it's filled with Argon gas and has thesame copper sulphate crystals. It even has chronograph, date, and day complications: a fairly unusual combination for a dive-rated ulysse nardin replica. The blue dial gives it a rather elegant appearance, as well. There's a lot of innovation in the rest of the Sinn catalog as well, and I invite you to take a further look.Related Articles: Extreme Dive ulysse nardin watcheses from TechnoMarine, Bell & Ross, MTM, and SinnBy Paul Hubbard .The Sinn U2Next up is the Sinn U2, a mechanical diver's ulysse nardin based on the ETA 2893 movement. This adds an independently settable 24-hour hand which makes it very useful for traveling. The U2 is filled with Argon gas, and that odd hole in the 6 marker is a copper sulphate indicator that tells you if the Argon needs to be replenished -- the idea being that you can tell if moisture has seeped in or the seals have weakened. Clever, since you should notice immediately just by reading the time. The copper sulphate capsules (there are actually two of them) also absorb moisture to keep the movement nice and dry.Like the UX, the U2 it's made of tegimented submarine steel, with a hardenedanti-reflective coating on the sapphire crystal, and a super-hard machinedbezel. I really like the face of both the UX and the U2: functional, unique, and very legible. The Sinn ArktisLastly, the Sinn Arktis. For this one, I quote directly from Sinn:A Sinn for exceptional conditions was created in intensivecooperation with the internationally famous extreme diver MarioM. Weidner: A mechanical diver’s chronograph that is not only pressure-resistant to 300 meters of water depth, but also guarantees rateprecision and reliable functions at unusually cold temperatures. Itpassed the endurance test at the North Pole with flying colors. While "only" water resistant to 300 meters, and made of "ordinary" stainlesssteel, the Arktis is notable for its wide functional temperature range of -45°C to80°C, thanks to their use of a custom oil that lubricates the movement

Introduction to Sinn: a Convergence of Watch*** and Engineering

Pretty impressive. But the Sinn UX is rated to 12,000 meters or almost 40,000 feet! Or, put anotherway, slightly deeper than the deepest known part of the ocean. Of course, the movement will stop working around 5,000 meters, but at that depth, you have more to worry about than telling the time. There are as many different reasons to buy Replica Ulysse Nardin as there are wearers, and today I'd like to talk about a personal motivator: engineering. Being an engineer myself, I appreciate and savor the work required to find an innovative and elegant solution to a problem, particularly in field of materials science. So how does this related toSinn? Sinn is a German company *** watches withSwiss (ETA) movements, and their engineering is simply superb. I'vechosen three of their watches to talk about, and I think that by the end of this article, you will agree that Sinn engineering is indeed something special. The Sinn UXFirst off is the Sinn UX, a seemingly standard looking quartz diver's web gifts for jewelry with some decidedly non-standard features. Made of steel designed for submarines, and further toughened by a process called tegimenting, it sports a sapphire crystal with super-hard anti-reflective coating and 7-year battery. But that's just the beginning. The case and dial are filled with silicone oil which, having the same refractive index as the sapphire, removes reflections and makes the dial visible from all angles and avoids the underwater "mirror effect". Sinn had to use quartz here because no mechanical movement can function while immersed in oil.But the silicon oil isn't just for visibility. In conjunction with the construction of the case, and a special gasket system, the oil allows the nice rolex watches to withstand enormous pressure. For the sake of comparison, a Rolex Submariner is rated for200-400 meters (about 650 to 1,300 feet) of depth, depending on when it was made, and a Rolex Sea-Dweller isguaranteed to 1,200 meters (about 4,000 feet).

Review of the Timex iControlReview of the Timex iControlReview of the Timex iControlReview of the Timex iControl

Although the most interesting feature of the Timex iControl is certainly its ability to remotely control your iPod, I do want to point out that even without the iPod functionality, it's actually a very nice sports web watches gift. It's so light, and the webbed strap is so soft and airy, that it's very easy to forget that it's on your wrist. The bezel has a nice shine to it, and the LCD is one of the highest contract displays I've seen on a digital watch. The fit and finish of the Timex iControl is clearly a step up from previous IRONMAN models. But let's be honest: wirelessly controlling your iPod from your watch is extremely cool, and not just for athletes. Although my iControl mainly accompanies me to the gym, once you start wearing it around, all kinds of additional uses start to become apparent. As Paul pointed out in our original Timex iControl post, if you connect your iPod to your car stereo through an auxiliary input, you can essentially control your car stereo with your watches gift online which is easier and probably much safer than messing with your iPod while driving. I even found the iControl extremely useful while walking around the city one day since I was able to keep my iPod buried in my backpack. Of course, having to push a button on your watch before you can talk to people may come across as a bit strange, but in my opinion, it's all part of the fun.Supplies are a bit limited right now, but eventually the Timex iControl will be available in seven different colors (black, black/silver, light gray, blue, pink, orange, and green). Retail price is $125, if you're lucky enough to find one in stock. This watch was generously provided by Fashion Time.View the Timex iControl Photo Gallery.A programmable alarm allows you to specify the date as well as the time at which an alarm will sound. Daily alarms, on the other hand, sound at the specific time every day, which is generally less useful since we typically use alarms to remind us of irregular events. The Timex iControl has three alarms which I call "semi-programmable". You can't set the exact date on which they will sound, but you can choose between weekdays, weekends, or daily. Multiple time zones. The Timex iControl will keep track of the time and date in three different time zones. It uses a very *** approach to multi-time zone support: rather than being preprogrammed with cities, time zones, daylight savings rules, etc., it *** provides you with three date and time "slots" which you can set any way you want. Sometimes the ***st approach is all you need. Day and date display. This may seem like a small thing, but not enough digital jewelry show you both the day and the date simultaneously. Yes, I'm aware of the fact that I should be able to remember the day of the week, and I usually do, but when I've been putting in a few 12-hour days in row, sometimes they start running together. I really like watches that make it easy for me double check the day at the same time I'm checking the date. INDIGLO illumination. The Timex iControl has an excellent electroluminescent function. Rather than illuminating the entire LCD, only the digits are illuminated which makes them very crisp and easy to read. The iControl can also be put into "night-mode" which lights up the digits when any button is pushed to make operating the watch in the dark much easier. Water resistant to 100 meters, or about 330 feet.

Review of the Timex iControl

Timex IRONMAN watches have always been designed to make interacting with them while running as *** and natural as possible, so why not extend the functionality of your web replica watches to also control your iPod?The Timex iControl my web replica watches is a fully functional IRONMAN with the following features: Integrated iPod controls. You can use the Timex iControl to wirelessly play or pause your iPod, move to the next or previous track, and to adjust the volume. The iControl is compatible with the first generation 1, 2, and 4GB iPod nano, the second generation iPod nano (aluminum), and the 5th generation 30, 60, and 80GB iPods (video). 99-lap, 100 hour chronograph with a resolution of 1/100th of a second. You can even customize the layout of the chronograph to suit your particular needs or tastes. Chronograph recall. You can use the recall function to review your last workout. Scroll through up to 50 laps, and see an overall lap average as well as your best lap time. Countdown timer. The Timex iControl has a standard countdown timer that goes up to 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds. It can be configured to automatically repeat, or to stop after time has elapsed. Interval timer. An interval timer allows you to set two countdown timers which elapse and sound alarms consecutively. This is useful if you use the increasingly popular walk/run method of distance and endurance training where you improve your overall time by taking regular walk breaks so that you don't slow down toward the end of a long race. Three semi-programmable alarms.View the Timex iControl Photo Gallery.MP3 players are becoming an increasingly standard piece of workout equipment. Music can help keep runners "in the zone" or help keep weight lifters' adrenaline pumping, and audio books and podcasts can help us make more efficient use of our workout time. Now that MP3 players are small enough, battery life is long enough, hard drives and flash memory is large enough, and prices are low enough, just about any athlete can have access hours of audio content anywhere their workout takes them. But not all the problems have been solved. Although the iPod's user inte***ce is widely considered revolutionary for its simplicity and intuitiveness, there's no getting around the fact that interacting with an MP3 player while working out is usually not very convenient. Removing your iPod from wherever it's stashed can be tricky while running, and after you've managed to retrieve it, the controls can be clumsy to use and the screen difficult to see. Of course, the risk of fiddling with your MP3 player too much while working out is that it can easily break your concentration and flow.Enter the Timex iControl replica watches.

Timex Releases Shock Resistant Solar Watches

Very clever and useful when you're in dim situations where your hands are full.So let's see: shock-resistant, automatic backlight, and solar powered. These are all things we've traditionally loved about G-Shocks, and hopefully we'll love them just as much in the new Timex Solar watches. We're big fans of Timex watches here at replica watches Report. They have a wide variety of styles, functions, and we think Timex represents excellent value. However, we've always wondered why they haven't tried to compete more directly with Casio G-Shocks. G-Shocks have been extremely successful for Casio, and although Timex has a great line of Ironman watches gift, it seems they've been hesitant to encroach directly on G-Shock territory by adding features like solar power. Until now.Timex recently introduced several new solar powered watches. You can see the entire Timex Solar lineup on their site, but here's a breakdown:Three analog/digital combinations.Three shock-resistant digital models.Six in the Triathlon series. Two reverse LCD displays, which are white on black. (The conventional LCDs all seem to have the new high contrast displays we found in the Timex iControl.)All the Timex Solar handbag to gift have the following in common:One-year warranty.Indiglo night light with the "FLIX" system (more below).Power (charge) indicator.Water resistant to either 50 or 100m (165 or 333ft). Prices range from $80 to $110 USD which, in typical Timex fashion, is very reasonable for what you get. I like that they've added what they're calling FLIX; like Casio, this is a feature that allows you to activate the electroluminescent backlight when its dark just by flicking your wrist.

Introduction to Doxa: Distinctive Professional Dive Watches

Doxa also began incorporating an adjustable bezel with a decompression table into the Sub 300T. Resold in the US, it was a tremendous success and was reintroduced in 2002 as a special edition.Doxa watches have a distinctive "cushion" case (referring to the shape), and since 1973, the crown is located at the 4 o'clock position for comfort (to prevent it from digging into your wrist). This, combined with the unique bezel, bracelets, and eye-catching colors, makes for a replica rolex to you with great presence. They're very well made, as well, utilizing Swiss ETA movements of impeccable pedigree.Doxa currently makes four hardcare dive watches: Sub 5000T Sub 1000T Sub 750T (GMT) T-Graph Sub 600T (chronograph)Most of Doxa's dive replica rolex see are available in multiple colors which are indicated by the names Professional (orange), Sharkhunter (black), Caribbean (blue), and Divingstar (yellow). There is plenty more to Doxa's history and innovation (Helium escape valves, Bugatti car dash clocks, 8-day movements, ratcheting dive suit extensions, etc.) which you can find on Doxa's site. The upshot is that if you're a serious diver, or if you just want a unique watch with good legibility and an interesting history, Doxa is a very good place to look.Additional Resources: The Doxa homepage Doxa 40th anniversary book doxa300t.com Doxa entry on Wikipedia. If you like your dive watches colorful, distinctive, and rich with history, then we think you'll like Doxa SA. Founded in 1889 in Switzerland, Doxa foundered in the quartz crisis of the 1960s, but was reopened in 1997. Although they make a wide variety of watches, they are best known for their dive replica rolex for you, and their perennial inclusion in the Dirk Pitt books by author Clive Cussler. In 1967, Doxa's research led them to use an orange dial for visibility on their Sub 300T model which was unheard of at the time. Water absorbs some colors more than others, and Doxa's work found that orange remained legible to the greatest depths. The orange dial become a symbol of Doxa, and is now an option available on almost all serious dive watches (except the Rolex Sea-Dweller which has stubbornly stuck to black).
